National Register of Historic Places

The Grande Dame of the turtle creek corridor

Designed by famed Modernist architect Howard Meyer and built by Jerome Frank and Edward Dicker in 1957, this iconic 22-story building is one of the nation's few Modernist high-rise buildings listed in the National Register of Historic Places. At opening, 3525 was heralded as the "tallest, largest and most luxurious apartment building ever erected west of the Mississippi."  In concept, the residences at 3525 were something totally new for Dallas and the Southwest. Originally available in five floor plans, units have evolved over time into 93 totally distinct luxury residences. The sweeping views of Downtown Dallas, the Turtle Creek Corridor, the Kalita Humphries Theatre, and more are unparalleled. Throughout its storied history 3525 has been, and continues to be, home to many notable Dallas citizens.
