1957: The Grand Opening of 3525 Turtle Creek

Opening night at 3525 was a grand affair. The first general manager, Harry Jensen, was born in Sweden in 1893 and came to this country before WWI. He had managed the Rockefeller-owned Tassel Apartments in Tarrytown, New York, before coming to Dallas to manage 3525 Turtle Creek.  The photographs of opening night at 3525 Turtle Creek were contributed by Geoffrey Telkamp, grandson of Ella and Harry Jensen.
